I was so delighted to speak to Teach Primary magazine about ways to give pupils agency.
In the face of disturbing world events it's easy for children to feel powerless and as though their actions don't matter.
In How To Be A Revolutionary, Natalie learns that small actions close to home can ripple out to effect a much wider community.
Based on Natalie's journey in the book, Teach Primary asked me to come up with "6 Ways" to give kids back a sense of control over their world.
In the article I talk about how completing a list of small acts of kindness can help children to see the impact they can have on the world and to feel good about their achievement. You can download a free act of kindness tick-list worksheet on my 'Resources' page here.
